Kapa haka festival

On the 23rd of November, it was the Kapa Haka festival.
So this is what the Girls and the Boys had to do:

For the Girls we had to:
Get their hair done if it wasn't already done.
Get there dress on
Get there Moko
And Get the ribbon is their hair.

For the Boys they had to:
Get their Ta Moko
Get a school jacket.

Then the whole school had to get their bags and then we had to go on a bus.
Once we got to the show grounds we put our bags by a tree and then when under a tent and then we play a game while we were waiting. Then Papa Pura (Our Kapa Haka teacher) came and we did our school song. Then it was our time to shine.
Once we got on the stage it was the Juniors time to shine. Once we finished the Juniors bracket the Juniors went off the stage and then it was the Seniors turn to shine. Then the Juniors went down to the front of the stage and watched the Seniors bracket. Once we Finished our Senior Bracket we went outside and had to have a photo and then we went back inside and watched the rest of the schools. Once the rest of the schools were done we got into our line for the mass haka.

Once we finished the mass haka we got back on the bus and went back to school and then got dressed out of the dresses and then people started to go home.
I had a lot of fun doing the Kapa haka festival.
